Kayasah is composed of 2 words: Kay and Asah. Kay, meaning “house” in Creole, was chosen to celebrate the company’s Haitian roots as well as translate the idea of enterprise but also warmth. Asah, from the Hebrew verb ‎עָשָׂה, means to “to do” or “to create”, and is used in Genesis 1 when referring to God creating the world.
